Alex Walter
Alex Walter, played by Ashby Gentry, is a primary character of the Netflix series My Life with the Walter Boys. He is depicted as the intelligent, nice, and more reserved one of the Walter brothers and is usually the "good guy" or "golden retriever boy" to his bad boy brother Cole. Alex is a computer gamer and a nerd, which highlights his introspective and shy side. After Jackie settles, Alex falls for her instantly, giving her that sense of security and comfort when she is at a very difficult time in her life. The majority of fans concur that Alex belongs with Jackie because the relationship begins on the foundation of friendship and things they share in common. Alex gives Jackie a safe and stable figure, something which she desperately needs after losing her loved ones. Their relationship is built on mutual respect and an open channel of communication, and Alex always goes out of his way to make Jackie feel comfortable. He encourages her goals and provides a stable anchor amidst the chaos of the Walter household. Theirs is a relationship that doesn't have the hot, passionate fire shared with Cole, but it's a profound, comforting sort of love that might be more healing and long-lasting to Jackie. His own development in the course of the series also illustrates growth, as he comes to be able to step out of Cole's shadow and pursue his own passions, like bronc riding, even when it's difficult. This maturity and unshakeable care qualify Alex as a good candidate for Jackie's heart, giving her a sound and loving future.

Survivor
Survivor has been the measuring stick of reality competition television shows for over 25 years now. Since its premiere in 2000, this show has mixed survival with strategy and social interaction. Hosted by Jeff Probst, the program has seen many memorable participants, surprises, and alliances. While the game itself involves dealing with environmental factors, Survivor is all about people. You must build your alliances, earn their trust, and know when to play your cards right.
The rules may change slightly each season as the show introduces new features for the players but at heart, there hasn't been much difference since the first episode was aired. The game of Survivor isn't only about staying alive but also successfully interacting socially. It's about knowing when you have enough information to play against the other contestants in a psychological game.
That's probably why the game still remains relevant after so many seasons.
