Throughout his business career, he has had many ups and downs, including 6 bankruptcies and involvement in countless lawsuits and federal/state legal actions. His has written several bestselling books on his business success. He also appeared on several seasons of the successful TV show, The Apprentice. He is most well known for being the U.S. President from 2017-2021. His presidency was characterized by much polarization with vocal supporters and non-supporters. During his presidency, he was impeached twice and he was acquitted in both trials. Trump remains active in politics and provided over 200 endorsements since he left office.
Boris JohnsonBoris Johnson was Prime Minister of Britain from 2019-2022. He served during the COVID crises and it emerged that government officials broke COVID regulations and protocols by attending parties. The scandal became known as “Partygate”. Johnson received a penalty notice for his attendance at one of the parties, and he was the first Prime Minister to be sanctioned for breaking a law while in office. He was also widely criticized for his general handling of the COVID crisis. He eventually resigned after a string of ministers resigned and he lost confidence from his Conservative party.
He was a controversial figure. He’s been praised for being witty and entertaining, and appealing to people beyond the Conservative party. His critics have accused him of lying, bigotry and cronyism. His first term started of with controversy due to his views on Brexit. He clashed with the Queen on several occasions. By the time he left office, he had a 68% disapproval rating, with only 25% approving of his performance.
