DrakeDrake, or Aubrey Drake Graham, is a Canadian rapper, actor, and songwriter. Drake was born in Toronto, Canada on October 24th, 1986. Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, played as a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis, so Drake was brought up around music his whole life. At a young age, Drake attended Jewish day school and Forest Hill Collegiate Institute. Drake first entered the entertainment industry through acting, where one of his classmate's fathers became his agent. In 2001, Drake started his role as JImmy Brooks in Canadian teen series 'Degrassi: The Next Generation'. Drake soon dropped out of school to pursue acting, but graduated high school in 2012. Drake acted on Degrassi from 2001 to 2009, and won many awards such as Young Artist Award in 2001 for "best ensemble in a TV series." In 2006, Drake started his career in the music industry, releasing his first mixtape 'Room for Improvement'. In 2007, he released a second mixtape titled 'Comeback Season." This mixtape featured the popular song "Replacement Girl." In 2008, Lil Wayne contacted Drake and asked him to join his Carter III tour. Drake’s third mixtape, "So Far Gone", was released in 2009, and featured the single "Best I Ever Had". That song reached number 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. Another popular song from that mixtape, "Successful", went gold and was featured in Rolling Stone's "25 Best Songs of 2009". Later in 2009, Drake signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment, owned by Lil Wayne. In 2010, Drake released "Thank Me Later," his first full length studio album. It reached number 1 on the US and Canadian charts, and became certified platinum. In 2011, he released his second album. "Take Care," which featured well known songs "The Motto," "Headlines," and "Make Me Proud." In 2013, Drake won a Grammy for Best Rap Album. In 2013, Drake also released the song "Started From The Bottom", which quickly rose in popularity. In 2015, Drake released his fourth album "Views", which hit number 1 on the Billboard Charts. He won a Grammy for "Best Rap Song" and "Best Rap/Sung Performance" for song "Hotline Bling". In 2017, Drake won 13 awards at the Billboard Music Awards, breaking Adele's record for most wins in a year. In 2018, Drake released the album "Scorpion", which hit over 1 billion streams in a single week. In 2020, Drake released popular songs "Life is Good" and "Chicago Freestyle". In 2021, he released the album "Certified Lover Boy '' and "Honestly, Nevermind" in 2022. In 2017, Drake and artist Sophie Brussaux. welcomed son Adonis.

As a child, Presley attended church frequently with his parents, making Gospel music have a large influence on him and his interest in music. When Presley turned 11, he received his first guitar, which he used to win his highschool's talent show. When Presley graduated highschool in 1953, he cut his very first demo with Sam Phillip's and Sun Studio. Presley's first single was "That's All Right" in 1954. In 1955, Presley signed with RCA Records.
In 1956, he had a number 1 single, "Heartbreak Hotel" (his first gold record), a number 1 album, Elvis Presely (his first gold album), and signed a movie contract with Paramount Pictures. His first movie, Love Me Tender, in 1956, became a box office hit. Presley became widely popular among fans for his racy dances and hip movements he did while performing. In 1957, Presley was drafted by the United States Military, where he served in Germany for a year and a half. When he served in Germany, Presley met Priscilla Beaulieu, who he married in 1967 in Las Vegas. Priscilla and Elvis had a daughter, Lisa Marie, in 1968. Elvis and Priscilla divorced in 1973.
After his time in the Army, Elvis Presley returned to his career in music, making soundtracks for and acting in films such as Viva Las Vegas, GI Blues, and Girls! Girls! Girls!. In 1968, Presley regained his title of "King of Rock 'n' Roll" through his TV special debut on December 3rd, Elvis, which many refer to as the "'68 Comeback". Presley performed regularly in Las Vegas, drawing enormous crowds for every show he performed at. Presley dealt with drug addiction and weight problems, causing him to struggle in his personal life. In 1977, Presley held his last concert in Indianapolis. After his retirement, Presley returned to his Mansion, Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee. On August 16th, 1977, Presley died due to prescription drug related heart failure, at the young age of 42. Throughout his lifetime, Presley won 3 Grammys, had 18 number one songs, and was the first member inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Later, Presley was also inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
