EaglesThe Eagles are an iconic American country rock band formed in 1971 in Los Angeles, CA. Founding members include Glenn Frey (guitars, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitars, vocals), and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals). Future well known members would include Joe Walsh and Don Felder. Over the years, they’ve had 5 number one singles and 6 number one albums. Awards include 6 Grammys and 5 American Music Awards.
They debuted with the album Eagles in 1972 which spawned their first hits “Take It Easy” and “Witchy Woman”, both of which cracked the top 20. Their next few album releases produced top 40 hits including “Desperado”, “Already Gone” and “Best of My Love”, which hit #1 in both the US and Canada. Released in 1976, Greatest Hits would go on to become the best selling album in the US with sales of 38 million. Later that year, they released the iconic album Hotel California, which is the third best selling album ever with 26 million in sales. They reunited in 1994 for a new album release, as well as several other albums sporadically through the early 2000’s. FleetwoodFormed in 1967, Fleetwood Mac is a rock band consisting of both British and American members, led by drummer Mick Fleetwood. They had several initial hits off their early albums, including “Albatross” , “Oh Well”, and “Man of the World”. By 1974, a few key members had left the band but were joined by new members Lindsey Buckingham (guitar) and Stevie Nicks (vocals), leading them to a more pop-rock sound and international success.
