Oprah
Oprah Winfrey is an American talk show host, philanthropist, and media executive. She was born in 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Winfrey attended Tennessee State University where she kicked off her career in radio and TV Nashville. She later moved to Baltimore where she hosted the television chat show, People Are Talking, and later hosted her own morning show, A.M. Chicago. The show grew in popularity, leading to Oprah in 1986 to start her own show, The Oprah Winfrey Show. The Oprah Winfrey Show was the daytime talk show Oprah had from 1986 to 2011.

She became a household name not only in the United States, but all over the world from her show. On it, Oprah would have guests such as celebrities, philanthropists, and others where she would interview them. Through the fame and recognition the show brought her, Oprah used these resources to help others all around the world, such as her Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. Oprah became known as the first black female billionaire, started the well known "Oprah's Book Club", and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Oprah won other awards such as the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award in 2002, the Kennedy Center Honors Award in 2010, and again, was recognized for the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2013. After Oprah ended her talk show in 2011, she moved to her own network known as OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network). Her previous talkshow can be watched on television through reruns, or can be viewed by popular network provider, Hulu
Hoda Kotb
Hoda Kotb was born on August 9, 1964, in Norman, Oklahoma, and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia.  She’s known for being a  journalist, television personality, and book author. Her career began in television news at a local Virginia station, followed by a morning news host in Florida. She later joined NBC News as a correspondent for "Dateline NBC." In 2019 she began work on the “Today” show and was eventually promoted to co-host in the morning alongside Savannah Guthrie, making them the first female duo to co-host the show. She’s been awarded with a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Morning Program and others.. She wrote a few books such as "Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee." Hoda Kotb also partakes in philanthropic efforts. As a cancer survivor, she supports those causes as well as animal welfare.
