Will SmithBorn in Philadelphia in 1968, Will Smith is an actor, rapper and film producer, also known by his stage name Fresh Prince. He has received numerous nominations and awards for his work in music, TV and films. His career started in music under the name Fresh Prince as part of a hip hop duo with DJ Jazzy Jeff. They released 5 albums that included a number of Billboard Hot 100 top 20 singles, including “Parents Just Don’t Understand”. He also released several solo albums, which included the number one singles “Gettin’ Jiggy wit it” and “Wild Wild West”.
He gained notoriety for his role on the TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, in which he played a fictionalized version of himself, which ran from 1990-1996.
