Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and singer. Johansson was  born on November 22, 1984, in New York City, NY. Johansson began acting at a young age, starring in her first professional role at the age of eight. The role that made her famous was in 2003 in the critically acclaimed film "Lost in Translation," directed by Sofia Coppola. This role caused her to gain enormous amounts of recognition,  and got her her first BAFTA nomination. Over the years, Johansson has starred in many  films including "Match Point," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," "Her," "Marriage Story," and "Black Widow". Johansson has played a variety of characters, showing her talent in acting in different emotional and deep roles. Aside from acting, Johansson has had experience in the music world. In 2008 and 2009, Johannson released two albums, "Anywhere I Lay My Head" (2008) and "Break Up" (2009). Johannson  has been nominated for several awards, including but not limited to , four Golden Globe nominations and two Academy Award nominations. Johannson is also passionate about being a humanitarian. She advocates for various causes including cancer research,  and supports organizations such as Oxfam. In 2018 and 2019, Johansson was named the world's highest-paid actress. In 2021, Johannson can be seen being featured multiple times in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. In 2021, the Times named Johannson as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. From 2008 to 2011, Johannson was married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds. From 2014 to 2017, Johannson was married to journalist Romain Dauriac. In 2020, Johannson married comedian Colin Jost, and is still currently married to him. Johnannson has two children. She has an 8 year old daughter shared with ex-husband Romain Dauriac, and a 1 year old son shared with her current husband Colin Jost.
